How It Works - Seller's Help

For an overview of this industry see our about us page.

There are over $60 billion dollars of unused gift cards in the United States according to a recent report in Forbes Magazine. This figure does not even include store issued merchandise credit which is equally as large. Approximately, 10% off all gift cards issued each year go unspent. People often receive gift cards for stores they don't shop in. They might have small residual balances leftover on their gift cards. Or, they just rather have cash to pay for their rent or mortgage.

A typical recent scenario: A lady got a $1,000 American Airlines gift card. She had no immediate use for it. So she mailed it in to CardCash.com and got paid $800 within 24 hours of us receiving her card. She used the $800 to pay for her rent that month. She was ecstatic having received money she could use for her rent rather than a gift card collecting dust in a drawer.
